Let's Talk it Out
Let's Talk it Out
Hi, I’m Jonny 👋
Whatever you’re going through, you deserve support. Hearsay is where I provide exactly that, using person-centred psychotherapy to create a warm, supportive and confidential environment to explore anything on your mind at your own pace.
No matter how difficult things are, or how alone you feel, I will be there with you. You don’t have to face this alone.

Let’s Talk
About
-
Whether diagnosed or not, however anxiety or depression looks for you, I can support you.
-
We can explore any relationship that is important to you to understand where you are in it, and where you want to be.
-
Challenge your inner critic in a supportive environment, identifying its root cause and rewriting its script to serve you, not hold you back.
-
More common than you think, but in even identifying that you feel this way you have already taken an important first step.
-
Once you recognise the above applies to you, the next step forward can seem miles away. I can help the road ahead feel less daunting.
-
Be it after leaving a relationship, moving away from family, or any number of situations, let’s find your ideal you.
-
Stress can occur in any area of life, and at any time – so as soon as it crops up for you, let me help.
-
Change can be difficult, whether it’s big or small. Let’s get to the bottom of what’s going on for you and ride out the storm together.
-
I can support you before, after or during the loss of a loved one – just say the word.
-
If something is causing you difficulty in life, no matter what it is, you'll have the time and space to explore it with my support.
What Clients Say
Your Questions
Answered
-
Online sessions are ÂŁ50, in-person sessions cost ÂŁ60 to cover the cost of room rental.
-
Sessions are 50 minutes long as standard, though if you need shorter or longer sessions – just ask!
-
First sessions tend to fall into two categories – either getting straight into whatever is top of mind for you at that time, even if it’s different to what we spoke about in our initial call, or more of an “info dump”-style session where you share any important concerns, relationships or events, that you think it’s worth me knowing, and we go from there.
Either approach works for me, I’m happy to be led by what is most comfortable for you in that moment. -
I’m qualified to work with people aged 16 upwards, although if you’re younger don’t worry – I can signpost you to an organisation better placed to support you.
-
Honestly, there isn’t a pattern to this. I don’t lock clients into a set number of sessions, so it’s really up to you how long your therapy lasts. All I tend to recommend is checking in with each other every 6-8 sessions to make sure you’re getting what you hope to out of our sessions, or whether there is anything I can tweak in my approach to better suit you.
-
I routinely offer 5pm and 6pm sessions on weekdays, and have offered later sessions on a case-by-case basis – just ask! I try to avoid working weekends but could offer morning sessions if needed, happy to have the conversation.
-
Counselling is not crisis care, and so it won’t be the best fit for you at this time. Your best bet is to search for “crisis support”, followed by your area to find the helpline for your local crisis team.
You can also contact any of the following organisations to get the support you need, the moment you need it:
Suicide Helpline UK: 0800-689-5652
ADFAM (national charity working to improve life for families affected by drugs or alcohol): 020-3817-9410, www.adfam.org.uk
Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM): 0800-58-58-58
Crisis Text Line: Text "SHOUT" to 85258
Eating Disorder (adult helpline): 0808-801-0677
UK National Advice Service: 0300-5000-927
National Domestic Abuse Helpline (24/7 service): 0808-2000-247
NHS (for when you need help but aren’t in immediate danger): 111
Self-Harm Hotline: 116-123
